The Author – Christine Titheradge wrote Sneezes because great books are what you want to share not germs. This story has a repetitive element which increases readability and gives the child the opportunity to use their imagination to come up with their own fun situation of what could happen if a sneeze got loose. She is the author of three YA published stories . Her passion for writing picture books began six years ago and has since won a scholarship. Her goal is to create a sense of fun for the child listening as well as the emerging reader. And to create stories parents, teachers and grandparents would want to pick up and enjoy reading themselves.

Selling Points

• School classes/Teachers: I see this book being part of the norm in Kindergarten, Prep, grades 1-3 and beyond. I can envisage teachers setting up art classes for children to draw their own reason of what would happen if a sneeze got loose.
• Disabilities: Teachers/Carers/Parents working disabilities would also find it a fun way to allow their students/chargers/children to know it is important to put a sneeze in a tissue or elbow and the rhyme and repetition is a great way to teach this. Keeping in mind not all disabilities are the same and would help in different ways.
• Parents/Grandparents/Guardians: Would enjoy reading this interactive adventure. I can see a Doc Ted teddy in every child’s bed helping them feel better like he did in our family.
• Doctors Surgeries, Hospitals & other Government Medical Agencies: GP’s, Paediatric Doctors and hospitals would love the ability for children to have fun and momentarily taking their mind off being sick.
